"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you're right."

Henry Ford began his life on July 30, 1863, on a farm near Dearborn, Michigan. Through various ventures, such as the Detroit Automobile Company, Henry Ford, along with twelve investors, finally incorporated the Ford Motor Company in 1903. Henry Ford was the first to design a left hand drive automobile, single block engine, and removable cylinder head, which is still the standard today. The most notable left hand drive automoble was known as the Model T. As popular as the Model T was, the Ford Quadricycle was his first self-propelled invention.

Henry Ford was quoted to say, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you're right." What Ford meant by this quote was, whether you believe you can do something or not, you will be right. You have already made up your mind before even attempting a task, goal, chore, life venture, etc. Every day there are choices to be made in life, big and small; how we act and react in situations. Good attitudes or bad attitudes are solely on the individual and the choice that is made. If choosing to have a good day is the goal, then a good day can be had or vive versa.

As a parent, I see more and more how our attitudes, whether positive or negatve, has an impact on our day. My children come home from school and the daily question is, "How was your day?" They tell me whether they feel like they had a good day at school or a rotten day. As their mom, I simply ask them this question, "What could you have done or said differently towards that situation?" Life may not seem easy at times, but we do have the choice to think positive, and focus on the positive, rather than looking at the negatives.
